Porsche Has Revealed The 911 R, A Pure-bred Sports Car With Manual Transmission And Powerful Naturally Aspirated Engine.

Like Its Iconic Predecessor, The New 911 R Features Lightweight Construction To Deliver Maximum Driving Experience. With Its Overall Weight Of 1,370 Kilograms Undercuts The 911 Gt3 Rs By 50 Kg And Is The Lightest Version Of The 911. The Model Has Been Developed In The Motorsport Workshop And Extends The Spectrum Of Technologies From The 911 Gt3 Rs. The Body Is Finished In Distinctive White Color With Contrasting Stripes, While With A View To Road Use, Some Details And Rear Wing Are Gone Familiar With 911 Gt3 Rs. Instead, The Car Has A Retractable Rear Spoiler And A Bespoke Aerodynamic Diffuser Beneath The Rear Underbody To Provide The Necessary Downforce.

Power Is Provided By The Familiar Four-liter Flat-six Boxer Engine From The Gt3 Rs. The Naturally Aspirated Unit Delivers 500 Hp At 8,250 Rpm And Generates 460 Nm (339 Lb-ft) At 6,250 Rpm. Available Exclusively With A Six-speed Manual Sports Transmission, The New 911 R Sprints From 0 To 0-60 Mph (0-96 Km/h) In Just 3.7 Seconds, While The Top Speed Is 201 Mph (323 Km/h). Combined Nedc Fuel Consumption Amounts 21.2 Mpg (13.3 L/100 Km).
The Car Has Also Been Outfitted With Specially-tuned Rear-axle Steering, Electronic Stability Control System, A Mechanical Limited-slip Differential At The Rear Axle For Maximum Traction And A Rev-match Function For The Transmission.
