The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has said that at least 124 people were killed in one day (26 November) during the 14-day-long assault by the Syrian army on the eastern part of rebel-hold Aleppo. It said at least 40 of the dead were civilians. Thirty members of pro-Assad forces were killed in the clashes, including those belonging to militias loyal to Damascus.
