Returning from where I fled
More sneaked away un-noticed
From fears of the unsaid
From fears of fear
From expectations
From a world circumscribed
From a pain consealed

Altered by time and its ending
Unspoken pains lie on the surface
Which were once buried
Now balmed in a stale love
Smouldering embers cast shadows
Fled I, where from?
Returning.
