An interesting video has emerged of crabs placing sponges on their shells in order to blend in with the bottom of the ocean.

The footage, shot in 2016 off Pulau Tomia, Indonesia, shows Decorator Crabs sporting two different types of sponges on their carapaces.

According to reports, sponge crabs are able to cut off pieces of living sponges to trim them and use them as portable shelters.
