‘Facebook Killer’ dead after brief police pursuit

“Facebook Killer” Steve Stephens killed himself Tuesday morning in Erie County, Pennsylvania State Police reported. The ‘killer’ sparked a manhunt across states after he gunned down Robert Godwin on Sunday in Cleveland and posted the recorded murder to Facebook. Cleveland police previously warned that Stephens could have escaped anywhere between the states of Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, and Indiana. The manhunt ended three days after the murder and about 100 miles away from the original crime scene.
