“The Voice” alum Meghan Linsey opened up about a venomous spider bite that left a huge hole in her face. Linsey, who was the runner-up on the show’s eighth season, woke up to a “stinging sensation” on her face in her home in Nashville on February 12. As she slapped her face, she discovered a dying brown recluse spider, one of the deadliest spiders in North America. "The swelling was the first thing, and then I ended up just having crazy, crazy symptoms. I had muscle spasms, then I had a body rash all over...Every day was another thing." Linsey shared her recovery journey on social media, saying she's "so incredibly grateful for my health and I will never take it for granted again
