CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA — A man is behind bars this week on allegations he tried to burn down a Bhutanese refugee’s store last week — and then blame it on white supremacists.

According to ABC affiliate WSOC9, Curtis Dwight Flournoy, a black man, allegedly targeted the Charlotte, North Carolina store in early April 2017.

Police believe he left the store owner a threatening letter that was laced with prejudiced comments, including: “Trump’s is our nation builder for white America”, and “we need to get rid of Muslims, Indians and all immigrants,” as well as threats of torture.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the entire thing. Firefighters brought the blaze under control, and the cops soon tracked Flournoy down on Sunday.

The 32-year-old’s been charged for the threatening letter as well as ethnic intimidation, arson, and felony breaking and entering.
