I carry the Glock 43 concealed in a TRR IWB holster with an extra magazine holder or in a custom Appendix Carry IWB holster with an extra mag too. However, I have found the stock length mags when fully seated in the carrier don’t leave as much room to grab them for reloads.

So, I am trying the Strike Industries Enhanced Magazine Plate +2 round capacity for the Glock 43. I am hoping that this magazine extension for the Glock 43 will work well with practice and self-defense ammo. Time will tell.

You will see how to change out the stock magazine plate for the Strike Industries mag plate +2 solution.

An added benefit is the EMP mag extension for the Glock 43 increases your 9mm round capacity by 2 rounds. The stock 6 plus 1 capacity is now increased to 8 plus 1 to give you a total of 9 rounds at your disposal for self-defense.

I am not sure if I will like the EMP by Strike Industries as the primary magazine for the G43, but I will give it a try and see how it works. My goal is to simply be able to use it as an extended spare magazine with great grip surface and the added bonus of extra ammunition capacity.
