It's our Passion. Aviation for more than a decade now has played a key role in the shaping of my life. When others would go out and party with their friends or go to the movies I would begin the journey down to the freeway to Melbourne Airport to spot planes. My families mornings could have been spent sleeping, however week in week out for 10 years we went spotting. It became a tradition. As every week went by I would get better and better at retaining information on airlines, aircraft and routes. Back then for me Plane Spotting wasn't about how good my picture could turn out or how stable my footage would be. I went because it made me happy and calmed me down.
Through our Passion that is Aviation I have met life long friends. I never thought for one minute that getting into plane spotting and Aviation would help me find my true friends, the people that put up with your complaining, whining and more. This community as a whole is I think the best out there. When I was a really small channel (50+ subscribers) I can remember trying to find my feet, trying to understand how to import my videos... yes I know how silly that must sound. I can't believe now I've got people everyday wanting my advice and help on Aviation matters. It's an honour to spread my knowledge to everyone.
People have often mentioned to me things like do you like your "fans," or when will you "meet your fans," but to be honest, my subscriber base are not my fans. They are my friends (minus a couple ;P). As i finish up I hope to share this passion with you for many more years or even decades to come. I hope to get to know everyone better in the community and one day spot with people from across the world.
