Hey everybody!!

Here is my 74th podcast to my very own personal radio show called, "The Andy Morales Show". This one focuses on the sounds of 1980's New Wave Music; the iconic underground synth-punk genre that defined the 1980's decade in a nutshell!! Recorded on: April 8, 2017. Hope all of you will enjoy my 74th podcast to, "The Andy Morales Show".

Sadly, he turned down the role as the lead singer of the band shortly after in the early 1980s.)
2. Ph.D. - "Little Suzi's On The Up" (Atlantic / WEA Records - 1981) (*Featured on their debut self-titled album, "Ph.D.". / Tesla, the iconic glam-styled Heavy Metal group, re-recorded this song in '86 on their debut album, "Mechanical Resonance". / Featured as the fifth song that aired on MTV's launch day on August 1, 1981.)
3. Berlin - "Tell Me Why (Pleasure Victim Album Version)" (Mercury / M.A.O. / Geffen Records - 1982) (*Originally released as a 7" single in '81, with an entirely different version than what was released on their second album, "Pleasure Victim". / Mostly known for their '86 hit song, "Take My Breath Away"; featured on the '86 motion picture, Top Gun.)

7. Rodway (a.k.a. Steve Rodway) - "Don't Stop Trying (12" Extended Dance Version)" (Millennium / RCA Records - 1982) (*A short-lived Synthpop/New Wave performer during the early 1980s. / Mostly remembered for producing remixes of some popular 1990's musical artists/groups like: Gina G., and The Spice Girls. / Re-released in '83 on his only album known as, "Horizontal Hold".)
8. Thomas Dolby - "She Blinded Me With Science (12" Extended LP Version)" (Venice In Peril / EMI / Harvest Records - 1982) (*Thomas' biggest hit that went straight to number one on the music charts worldwide. / Re-released in '83 on his Mini-LP, "Blinded By Science".)
9. The Human League - "Open Your Heart" (Virgin / A&M Records - 1981) (*From their third, and best-selling album, "Dare!")

*Oh, and by the way, this podcast was by far the hardest one I had ever done; production wise. The main problem was analyzing on the right versions for each song, and its substantial amount of historical data. In the end, this podcast turned out to have been quite successful, and I'm absolutely happy with the results. -AndyM
