Generac Power Systems, Inc., Waukesha, Wis., has introduced a new line of Guardian automatic standby power generators. Redesigned from the inside out and re-engineered to meet the power needs of any home, the new generators offer homeowners security during weather-related or rolling blackout power outages. The new Guardian air-cooled line comes in five models with ratings of 8, 10, 14, 17 and 20kW – more than what is available from any other manufacturer – and provides 24/7 automatic protection in the event of a power outage.

Fueled by natural or propane gas, Generac's new air-cooled line of standby generators for the home has 24 new features for easier installation and improved performance. The 20kW air-cooled unit (pictured below) offers the highest output of any generator of its kind.
