Troops from a multinational battalion arrived in the Polish town of Orzysz on March 30-31 to support NATO troops in the region.The troops, approximately 900 soldiers in 15 convoys, consisted of US soldiers as well as British and Romanian forces, Radio Maryja reported. Collectively known as Battle Group Poland, they will assist other European troops across the Baltic region as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing military effort designed to serve as a bulwark against Russia following its annexation of Crimea in 2014.This footage shows military vehicles moving through the town and soldiers offloading their gear.
