Dramatic Arrest Filmed During Birmingham Anti-Terror Raids

Two people were arrested during anti-terror raids on six properties in Birmingham’s Alum Rock neighbourhood on Wednesday afternoon, March 29.A police statement said a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested. The raids in Alum Rock were part of 17 counter-terrorism raids in England and Wales, according to police, but are not said to be connected to last week’s attack outside Westminster.In footage shot by a local, police are seen pinning down one of those detained and yelling at them to stay on the floor.
