Injured Person Treated After Westminster Attack

An attack occurred at the UK’s Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London, on March 22, the Metropolitan Police (Met) confirmed in a statement.Police said they were treated it as a “terrorist incident.” Parliament was placed on lockdown, and the surrounding areas were cordoned off.According to multiple reports, an assailant attacked police officers at the parliament buildings, stabbing one officer before being shot.This video shows security officials rushing outside the buildings, and appearing to tend to a person on the ground. Jaden Patel, who shot the video, told Storyful he heard gunshots and saw people running. He said he understood both a police officer and an assailant were being treated medically, but said he did not know who was being treated in his video.Around the same time, a vehicle reportedly drove through and injured a number of people on the nearby Westminster Bridge. A video shared on Twitter showed people lying on the ground on the bridge.
