Footage has emerged from Belgium of people paying tribute to the victims of last year's Brussels attacks.

The video, captured today, shows a huge crowd clapping during a 'minute of noise' while standing on one of the platforms inside Maalbek tube station.

According to reports, instead of silence, the Brussels public transport authority called on the travelling public to join staff in a minute of noise to remember the victims.

32 people killed and more than 320 injured in the suicide bomb attacks which were claimed by the Islamic State (IS) group.
