Chuck Berry, one of the founding fathers of rock and roll, passed away this past weekend and as a result, his sales of his music have skyrocketed. According to BuzzAngle, the day after his death, Berry sold over 3,800 albums, jumping 9,600 percent and blowing past his daily average of 39 albums. His singles did even better, going up more than 11,684 percent, with about a quarter of the sales going to his hit single, "Johnny B. Goode."
