This past Sunday a concert was taped at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center which featured a pool of Tony Award contenders. Performers from Xanadu, In the Heights, South Pacific, Gypsy, Cry Baby, Passing Strange, Sunday in the Park with George, A Catered Affair, Little Mermaid, and Grease performed numbers for the invitation only audience. The concert will air in NY on June 7th on CBS. Check local listings for broadcast times.

Kerry Butler recently released her debut record. Composed of Kerry's interpretations of Disney classics, Faith Trust and Pixie Dust is a unique collection of songs. Kerry will perform selections from the album tomorrow night, May 15th, at 5:30 at the Barnes and Noble on 66th and Broadway. A portion of the proceeds will benefit World Vision.

The Outer Critics Circle just announced it's award winners for the 2007-09 season. August: Osage County took home Outstanding New Broadway Play, while Outstanding New Broadway Musical was a tie between Xanadu and Young Frankenstein. Harold Pinter's The Homecoming took the Outstanding Revival of a Play and South Pacific received the Outstanding Revival of a Musical award. An awards ceremony is scheduled for Thursday May 22nd at Sardi's.

Debra and Mary's Night on the Town will feature the multi-talented playwrite/actor/singer Charles Busch as a special guest on May 19th at 8:30 at the Cornelia Street Cafe. Call 212-989-9319 for reservations.
