Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki became the sixth NBA player to reach 30,000 career points in the second quarter of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Dallas star got there on a fadeaway jumper from the baseline “It felt amazing, leading up to it,” Nowitzki said. The 30,000 list includes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Malone, Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kobe Bryant.
