HARPURSVILLE, NEW YORK — A live video stream of a giraffe giving birth is now back on YouTube after being yanked down, reportedly due to “sexually explicit” and “nude content” complaints.

April the giraffe is expecting a baby at the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, City News reported.

Zoo officials had placed a camera in April’s pen as she prepared to give birth to her fourth calf.

Before the live stream was hit with YouTube’s finally tuned community guidelines, it had 30 million views in 12 hours on Wednesday.

However, the stream was suddenly cut off after 7 a.m.

The zoo’s owner, Jordan Patch, thinks “a handful of extremists or animal rights activists” were responsible for flagging the video and having it taken down.

YouTube admitted it sometimes makes the wrong call when taking down flagged videos.

… Sometimes?

After appealing to YouTube, the zoo was allowed to start another live stream.

Apparently, some animal justice warriors don’t have a problem with the live stream, the problem is that the giraffe is being born in captivity, according to City News.
