Ride-sharing company Uber has said it will conduct an “urgent investigation” into claims of sexual harassment at the company. The allegations by former employee Susan J. Fowler caused Uber CEO Travis Kalanick to release a statement condemning such action at the workplace. “It’s the first time this has come to my attention so I have instructed Liane Hornsey, our new Chief Human Resources Officer, to conduct an urgent investigation into these allegations,” Kalanick said.
