Oldest Person with Down Syndrome Celebrates 77th Birthday

The man laying in the hospital bed is Kenny Cridge, and he celebrated his 77th birthday at the Wisteria Care House in Yeovil, Somerset on Wednesday. Kenny's birthday is quite special because he is actually the oldest living person with Down Syndrome on earth. He was born in 1940, when the average life expectancy for someone with Down Syndrome was a mere 12 years.
