Women arrested in connection with the murder of Kim Jong Nam

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA — Malaysian police detained a woman holding Vietnam travel papers on Wednesday and a second woman on Thursday in the apparent murder of Kim Jong Nam, the elder half-brother of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Immigration director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali told the Star Online that Kim Jong Nam was attacked outside the immigration check-point area. Police sources told state news agency Bernama reported the suspects include two women and four men.
Citing unnamed police sources, Bernama reported on Thursday that one woman sprayed chemicals on the face of Kim Jong Nam before another woman held a cloth over his face for 10 seconds.
North Korean officials objected to an autopsy on Kim Jong Nam’s body, but Malaysian authorities refused the request. It is not yet clear if the body will be handed over to North Korea.
