Tom and Jerry are hired by Polly the Dog to get back her collar from park mean guy Barkley. They help put Barkley in the pound "jail." He escapes but loses his memory after getting zapped by an electric fence. He clulessly hires Tom and Jerry to help him track down the detective duo that got him caught in the first place! Barkley reforms when he meets Polly and falls in love with her.
