Diane Rodriguez: A Trans Activist Making the Difference in Ecuador

Diane Rodriguez is an Ecuadorean transgender activist. Since last year she has captured media attention worldwide, because she and her also transgender husband decided to have a baby. But she has been involved in public life and politics for nearly 15 years. Diane is now running for a seat in Ecuador's congress in the current general elections, as a member of the ruling party Alianza Pais.
