President Trump's next immigration move will further clash with Silicon Valley

After the President Trump banned people coming into the United States from seven predominantly Muslim countries, Google, Facebook, Salesforce, Microsoft and others pushed back against the move. Many of the tech giants argued that it violated the country’s principles and risked disrupting its engine of innovation. The clash between Silicon Valley and Trump may intensify as he has drafted a new executive order that aims to change the work-visa programs technology companies use to hire numerous employees each year. “Visa programs for foreign workers … should be administered in a manner that protects the civil rights of American workers and current lawful residents, and that prioritizes the protection of American workers -- our forgotten working people -- and the jobs they hold.” the draft proposal reads
