Paratha is a popular breakfast dish in North India. In Punjabi families especially, they use a lot of ghee to fry the parathas and serve them with curd, white butter or pickle.
Palak Paratha is great way to include some healthy greens in your regular breakfast.
Ingredients
Oil
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato (remove the seeds)
Red chilli powder
Garam Masala
Chat Masala
Chopped Green Chillies
Salt
1 cup chopped spinach
1 cup wheat flour
Ghee
Method
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, red chilli powder, garam masala, chat masala, chopped green chillies, salt and mix it well.
Add 1 cup finely chopped spinach mix it well allow it to cook till it is dried completely.
Remove it in bowl and allow it to cool down.
In the bowl add 1 cup wheat flour, salt and 1 tbsp of oil mix it together, add little water and knead the dough for 2-3 mins and let it rest for 5 mins.
Take some dough and make flat rounds of it.
Dab a little oil and roll it in a thin disc.
Heat a pan, roast it and flip it over before adding ghee.
