Tech giants expressed their disdain for President Trump's executive order banning citizens from Muslim-majority countries entering the U.S. The tech industry in the U.S. relies on foreign engineers for a substantial percentage of its workforce. Google CEO Sundar Pichai 187 Google workers could be affected by Trump’s order. “I share your concerns. It is not a policy we support. We have reached out to the White House to explain the negative effect on our coworkers and our company," Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote in a note to employees. Neftlix's CEO Reed Hastings also criticized the policy on Facebook.
