LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that there is no room for terrorism, extremism and sectarianism in Pakistan, ARY News reported.

He was talking to State Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer.

Shahbaz Sharif said that it is our mission to form a society based on harmony and equality.

The chief minister observed that thousands of Pakistanis have sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism.

He said that Pakistan Army has curbed terrorism in the country and this is why economic activities have stepped up in the country.

Expressing his satisfaction over the National Action Plan (NAP), he said that the government’s steps against terrorism are proving to be effective.

Sharif, commenting on current political situation, claimed that failed politicians are leveling baseless accusations against the government.
