Sad old people stories: Elder abuse caught on camera when caretaker attacks old lady

MEMORIAL VILLAGE, TEXAS — Police are on the hunt for Texas caretaker Brenda Floyd, 65, after she was filmed violently beating a much older woman.
On Jan. 1 of this year, she was videotaped doing this to a frail female client, aged 94, in Memorial Village, Texas.
The elderly woman’s family had hired Floyd from Care.com, a website that connects caregivers with families. Floyd’s account now closed, reported local channel ABC 13 Eyewitness News.
Floyd had worked for the family for three years and had even given her a car to travel to work, reported ABC 13 Eyewitness News, citing police. The family later fired her.
Crime Stoppers are reportedly offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to Floyd’s arrest.
