Ramayana on the Need for a Proper Leader, by Stephen Knapp

This is a lecture given at the World Ramayana Conference in Jabalpur, India, December, 2016. This provides verses from the Ramayana that describe the social conditions when there is no leader, or no proper ruler. Even though these descriptions are given thousands of years ago during the time of the Ramayana, you can still see these symptoms in today's world. This also shows how the Ramayana is a living and relevant text that can be applied today as much as ever, not only for showing the standard for a proper leader, but also how to live in harmony with nature and also achieve the spiritual purpose of life.
