Obama approval ratings hit 60% at end of term

President Barack Obama is leaving office with his highest rating of 60 percent since he first came to power in 2009, according to a CNN/ORC poll. In comparison with other presidents, Obama is at the top of the list of approval ratings. He was only outranked by two former presidents, including Bill Clinton at 66 percent and Ronald Reagan at 64 percent. Obama received high ratings in the economy, foreign affairs, and race relations categories. However, he scored poorly on illegal immigration, health care policy, and national security concerns.
