Things just keep getting worse between Paula Patton and her ex-husband Robin Thicke! On January 13th, police were called to Paula’s Calabasas home amid the actresses’s allegations that Robin had hit their son Julian.
The police visit came after the six-year-old was a no-show at school. He had also missed his visitation time with Robin the previous evening. A police rep called the incident “a non-event” but did confirm that “it involved a child not wanting to go with someone.”
Although the court has rejected Paula’s request to limit Robin’s joint custody, an insider claimed to People that Julian is terrified to be with his dad. “Julian has made it clear he does not feel safe in his father’s presence, a fact confirmed today by the Malibu Sheriff’s Department determination — with Mr. Thicke present — that the child needed to remain with his mother.”
Meanwhile, Robin’s lawyers maintain that the singer never struck his son beyond a light spanking, and that his former partner of 21 years is angry that she was not allowed to attend the funeral of Robin’s father Alan Thicke. “Julian only shows any evidence of emotional harm when questioned by Paula or in her presence,” his attorney said.
