The following sentences reprint a diary of the one that they photographed in Nagano.
As we didn’t know even when the torch relay finished, we kept on shouting in the pouring rain. We sobbed thinking we could not even convey our message. It was only the police that heard our cry.
Heads of the Tibetan and Mongolian supporters reported the actual repressions in their countries.
We just wanted to convey our message, which was suppressed by the damned Japanese government, who dared to do such an embarrassing act yielding to the pressure by the Chinese government.
I read the news on the mobile on my way back.
“Torch welcomed, Relay ends without mishaps”
“5 Japanese arrested. Chinese students assaulted and wounded”
The media in this country are all damned cowards!
The police staged the torch course rimmed with Chinese only.
The media shot that part only.
The police pretended not seeing violence by Chinese and arrested Japanese.
Are we really in Japan? What a country is it then where you are not allowed to walk unless you have a Chinese flag ???
The Tibetans thanked us moved to tears, but I was ashamed that I am Japanese.
The first time in my life I felt ashamed of being Japanese.
This was what actually happened in Nagano.
The Japanese government is worse than the Chinese government.
Yielding to China, they forced out our cry. There is no longer democracy in this country.
There was no freedom of speech in Nagano on April 26, nor was freedom of movement, except the Chinese.
P.S: Anyone can freely use the videos I took.
