Out of the His love for the Prophet Jesus (pbuh), God protected him from unbelievers' attack and took him up to His sight

ADNAN OKTAR: God loves Jesus Messiah dearly. When unbelievers reached to him, God took him to His sight, which was something He had not previously done for any prophet. For example, while running away from unbelievers, the Prophet Zachary (pbuh) hid inside the trunk of a tree. He said, "Nothing but God is permanent," and they cut the Prophet Zachary in half with a large saw. Almighty God could have taken him to heaven if He had wished so; but He did not. He deemed martyrdom suitable for the Prophet Zachary (pbuh). For example, dear Prophet John (pbuh) was imprisoned. While drinking alcohol, in his completely drunken state, the man asked for the Prophet's head upon a woman's request. "What do you ask of me?" he asked the woman, and she replied, "I want John's head." He had previously told the woman, "I will do whatever you wish. Ask something of me and I promise I will fulfill it." The woman said, "Since you promised, I want John's head." Then, he said, "Consider it done,” and ordered his men, “Behead him and bring his head." His man went and martyred dear Prophet John; they beheaded him and brought his severed head. If Almighty God had wished so, He would have razed the place upon their heads, He would have destroyed the place by creating earthquakes; but He did not. Martyrdom was the Prophet John’s (pbuh) destiny. They took his head and brought it on a plate. As you know, the arm of the Prophet John (pbuh) is here in the Topkapı Palace among the Holy Relics. It is preserved within a golden container. But this was not the case for Jesus Messiah as he was taken to God’s sight. And God will send him down again. For example, God had never shown Jesus Messiah war. And he will not see any war in his second coming either. However, Christians believe otherwise. They say, "When Jesus Messiah comes, there will be a blood bath," but there will be no such thing. Jesus Messiah never participated in any war. He always led an amiable, calm and peaceful life. But he actually did not live that long. He will come at the age of 33, and according to hadiths, he will live another 40 years. In total, he will have lived 70 odd years. It is a rough estimate as it may be more or less. But Almighty God granted him a life full of beauty. As you know, Jesus Messiah's grave is next the Messenger of God's (saas). Our Prophet (saas) said, "Leave the space next to my grave empty so that you can bury Jesus Messiah there." King Herod had the Prophet John (pbuh) beheaded. The beloved Prophet Zachary (pbuh) was very old, and that is how Almighty God wanted to end his life, through martyrdom. The Prophet Zachary (pbuh) repeatedly said, "No one but God is everlasting." He hid inside an empty tree trunk, but a part of the dress he wore remained out of the trunk. Upon noticing it, the cowards realized that he was hiding inside the trunk, and with a grin on their faces, they brought a large saw. How could the Prophet Zachary (pbuh) think that a piece of his dress would hang out from a crack on the trunk? He quickly hid inside it. He could not realize that a piece of his cloth was hanging out of there. They brought a large saw and cut him in half. The poor Prophet (pbuh) did not even make a sound. Thus, he was martyred in there, masha'Allah. He only repeated God's name saying, "No one but God is everlasting, no one but God is everlasting. God is eternal, God is eternal." The reason God took his life this way is to show that prophets are no different from regular people. Because, people are always martyred in wars. God does not always protect prophets. They too fall martyr in the battlefields if need be, or they are martyred in other ways in different places. In other words, God does this so that people do not lose their freewill. Because, just as a child can be martyred, so can prophets.
