Actor Vivek Oberoi, who attended the book launch event of 'Pride Of Lions', written by Vinod Nair, spoke about the novel, which is based on the experiences of Indian soldiers and also added that Nair has decided to use whatever money he gets from the book to arrange for prosthetic limbs for maimed defence personnel. Incidentally, Nair is the husband of actress Tulip Joshi. On his part, Vinod Nair said that the book has a message for all those youngsters as he feels that today's youth lacks the passion to join defence services.
