Actor-producer Aamir Khan spoke about how Zoya Akhtar experienced a paranormal incident on the Haji Ali Road while on her way back from a party late at night, which inspired the 'Talaash' story. Khan further added that while shooting the film, they had eerie occurrences in the form of mysterious hand-written notes, which warned them against shooting at a particular location.
