Record Smasher: 'Chennai Express' Makes 100 Crore In Its Opening Weekend

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chennai Express' has smashed all previous records and has emerged as the biggest blockbuster in Bollywood. The film has created history by entering the elite 100 crore club in its opening weekend itself. The film has shattered other records too by becoming the highest paid preview grosser, the highest opening grosser and has also clenched the title of the highest 2nd day collection. The Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone starrer raked in 6.75 crore through paid previews and collected 33.12 cr, 28.05 cr and 32.50 cr respectively on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
