The Xpose - First Look

Two rival actresses, one cop-turned superstar and a devious villain; all entangled in a scandalous tale of love, deceit and vengeance is the premise of The Xpose- Anant Mahadevan's latest offering to die-hard thriller buffs. Inspired by the glory and glamour of the 60's, viewers are in for a visual treat with characters inspired from popular protagonists of the yesteryear and larger than life sets. Himesh Reshammiya, in his best form yet, is playing a suspended cop-turned brooding superstar modeled on Raaj kumar, while popular rapper Honey Singh in his debut as an actor, plays a villain based on the man we all loved to hate on the big screen- Pran. Zoya Afroz (Miss India 2013 second runner up) and Sonali Raut are the two beautiful leading ladies who essay the roles of rival actresses who have simultaneous releases in the movie. Naturally, cat-fights and chaos follow. In a special appearance Irrfan Khan plays Alec D'Costa, one of the biggest black marketeers of the 60's. The story takes an interesting turn when what should have been a successful awards show after-party, turns into an arena for murder, lies and betrayal. Strong characters reminiscent of the glorious 60's and an intense love story all set to a stunning background score makes this one movie to watch out for. The Xpose, produced by Vipin Reshammiya releases on May 23.
