Shah Rukh Khan's Driver Arrested For Raping Sangeeta Bijlani's Maid

Shah Rukh Khan's driver Rajendra Kumar Gautam alias Pintu Mishra (34) was arrested by the Bandra police on Wednesday evening for allegedly raping Sangeeta Bijlani's 17-year-old maid. Reportedly, Mishra has never been SRK's personal driver but was entrusted with the responsibility of ferrying the actor's children between home and school. The victim, who is from Latur, came to Mumbai five months ago and started working as the actress' domestic help. The accused got the minor's number through a friend and then lured her into getting a better work opportunity at Shah Rukh Khan's home. He then took her to a hotel in Nallasopara and allegedly raped her. After raping her, Rajendra threatened her with dire consequences if she spoke about the incident to anyone. The devastated girl returned to Mumbai on June 21 and filed a complaint against Khan's driver on Wednesday. Gautam has been charged under Section 376 (Rape) of the IPC and will be produced in the Sessions Court today.
