Tel Megiddo, Identified as Armageddon in the Bible - Israel Tour

Tel Megiddo is an ancient fortress and city strategically located along the ancient trunk road from Egupt to Syria and Mesopotamia. The site of numerous battles in biblical history, it is also one of the cities of Solomon and Ahab, and where King Josiah of Judah fell in battle. In Revelation 16:12-16, Megiddo is identified as Armageddon, the site of the world's last great battle. An interesting place full of history.
