Amazon Prime Video has officially gone global in more than 200 countries and territories. The streaming service is now available around the world, from Southeast Asia to Africa to Western Europe. The news puts the service in direct competition with Netflix, which also had it's global roll-out earlier this year except in China. Amazon Prime members in Belgium, Canada, France, India, Italy, and Spain can begin watching Wednesday at no additional cost. Subscribers can watch in English, with French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish subtitles for many titles.
