Salman Khan: ‘As a kid, I used to get beaten up by parents a lot!’

On the silver screen, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan might have bashed up many bad guys, but the ‘Dabangg’ dude recently confessed that as a kid, he used to get beaten up a lot by his parents because of his mischievous nature.

When on the sets of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ to promote his upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Salman said, “I have had my share of punishments as a kid and I still remember that dad (Salim Khan) would be reading his newspaper every morning and our complaints would reach his ears. Then he would summon me and hit with me a rolled-up newspaper. Though it did not hurt much at the time, the angry expression on his face would make us pee our pants!”

Needless to say, this candid confession made everyone, including Kapil Sharma guffaw. Salman will be seen sharing screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child artiste Harshaali Malhotra in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which is slated to release this Eid.
