Powerful earthquake hits northwest China
Footage has emerged of a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hitting northwest China.
In the video, filmed in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on Thursday, various objects can be seen shaking in a home.
Further shots show wine bottles smashed on the floor of a supermarket and students being evacuated from a school.
Two people were reportedly injured and sent to hospital.
According to local news, two houses collapsed while over 100 others were damaged by the tremors.
