Pepe La Pew, a vervet monkey from Zimbabwe, made an unlikely friend in pooch Indigo, who patiently waits while Pepe La Pew gives him a rub.
The rescue monkey is in awe of Indigo's black spots, but also plays with the dog's tail and climbs over him when he's sleeping.
Baye Pigors, who founded the Free to be Wild Primate sanctuary where Pepe lives, said Indigo is the 'perfect surrogate mother'.
The 25-year-old said: "Indigo has grown up with all kinds of wild animals and loves to look after the babies, she is the perfect surrogate mother.
