Dmytro Kurovskiy "Prepared for Everything!" performance 2016
"Prepared for Everything!"is a performance by Dmytro Kurovskiy, Ukrainian artist and musician, frontman of the "Foa Hoka" band, who has been working for many years at the intersection of neo-pop and psychedelic art.
The video is a teaser of the three-act mini-play, which is a declaration of the dedication to music, sex, freedom, love, and almost all other aspects of life. Kurovskiy's art is remarkable for the use of collage that helps to create information noise in this performance while the unhidden irony acts as a social criticism of our reality. For the attack on the social system, Kurovskiy combines numerous elements of the world underground with Ukrainian grassroots protest. An important place is occupied by a psychotic element in this work, which emphasizes the thorough mixing of different styles, discourse, in which every word deserves to gain revolutionary weight.
