The British Journal of Sports Medicine has published a report claiming that exercising could cancel the higher risk of cancer death brought about by drinking. The author of the study noted, "Alcohol will continue to be abused despite the damage it causes to the health of individuals and society in general." Aiming to discover if the harms of drinking could be offset through exercise, the study revealed physical activity lessened any greater risk of death due to alcohol.
