Richard Sherman: NFL TV ratings dropping because 'league isn't fun anymore'

The NFL has experienced a sharp and sustained drop in television ratings this season, and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman came up with a simple reason for the decline in viewership. Sherman told reporters Thursday. "Every other league, you see the players have a good time. It's a game. This isn't politics. This isn't justice. This is entertainment. And they're no longer allowing the players to entertain." Several other theories have been put forth as to why the league's ratings have dropped like the World Series, the election, Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protest, among others.
