http://www.motorbeam.com has heard the request of all the MotorBeamers and has put the TVS Apache RTR 180 in a drag race against the Bajaj Pulsar 180. Both these bikes are powered by 180cc engines and closely compete with each other in the Indian market but the TVS Apache has an upper hand as it also gets the option of a dual-channel ABS which even the more expensive Pulsar RS 200 misses out on as it gets only a single-channel ABS unit.
The TVS Apache 180 uses a 177.4cc engine to produce 17.03 BHP and 15.5 Nm while the Pulsar 180 belts out 16.78 BHP and 14.22 Nm from its 178.6cc motor. The Apache is lighter but is the Pulsar the faster bike?
