During the recent Lighting Technology Workshop at Opel's home in Russelsheim, Germany, blogger Robert Krippgans had the opportunity to drive the iconic 1968 Opel GT. This car was just one of the real-life examples of how Opel has been innovating in lighting technology for decades. The car was the first concept car to be developed by a European manufacturer, and its innovative "pop-up" headlamps were the first of their kind.
