Our sister publication Motorcyclist Magazine decided to put the KTM’s 1190 Adventure R and Honda’s Africa Twin head-to-head in a recent episode of On Two Wheels. The crazy thing was that they decided to put the adventures bikes against each other off the pavement and on a motocross track; this was to see how the big bikes do in the dirt. While the test was focused around the 1190 Adventure R and Africa Twin, Ari Henning and Zack Courts also tested out the lighter, motocross-specific 450cc bikes; KTM 450SX-F and Honda CRF450R.
